Summoning Informatics 2009

The International XIII Convention and Fair of Informatics 2009 will held  from February 9th to 13th of that year in Havana Palace of Conventions.

The motto of this new meeting is :"The Information and Communications Technologies as People Source of Wealth, which is called to propitiate the exchange among representatives, mainly, of the government, academic and managerial sectors.

 The central sessions of this forum will have as purpose to reflect how the infrastructures of information and communication technologies are prepared to the social service and of the cultural wealth of the people.

Software and digital solutions; telecommunications and electronics devices; the medical equipment and automation will be among the products that will be shown in the Commercial Fair of this encounter.

The XII International Convention and Fair- Informatics 2007, which was held on February 12th to 16th in Havana Palace of Conventions has served as space for Cuba to show its social and massive ICT use in the Island. More than thousand delegates of 58 different countries were present.

During Informatics 2007, The Commander of the Cuban Revolution Ramiro Valdés Menéndez denounced the digital espionage at the service of United States which is developed by big companies, producers of those technologies in the world. Commander Ramiro Valdés will also be President of Honor of Informatics 2009.
