Successfully Concluded Health Informatics 2007. Virtual Sessions to Continue
The closing session of Health Informatics 2007 was carried out successfully with the participation of Professor Pedro Andrés Urra González, Director of CNICM/INFOMED; Dr. Esperanza O'Farrill, President of Cuban Medical Informatics Society; Dr. Ariel Delgado, Chief of Informatics Area in MINSAP; and Ph. Sc. Luis Carlos Silva, President of the Scientific Committee of the VI Congress of Health Informatics 2007. Details of the ceremony. During the last day of activities, a round table was held on The work focus by specialties in Infomed Portal as model to improve navigation architecture. Concerning the Virtual Congress , there are already almost 2500 registrations. This Congress will last until March 12. The First Meeting of Developers of America Health Virtual Library networks concluded its sessions with the discussion and approval of recommendations for starting the developer networks for BVS. This meeting was held with the particiaption of Dr. Abel Packer, director of BIREME, and Professor Pedro Urra, director of CNICM/Infomed.
