The firts meeting for Network Developers of BVS, SciELO & ScienTI sponsored by BIREME & INFOMED, will take place in Havana, Cuba during February12th-16th, 2007   within the working sections of the VI International Congress of Health Informatics 2007.

The development of the 1st Meeting of Developers is fulfilling recommendations of the
4th Meeting of Regional Coordination of BVS (BVS 4), which was held previous to CRICS7-ICML 9 and it will serve as preparation for the Work Gropu of Network Developers BVS; SciELO and ScienTI, part of the activities of the 5th Meeting of Regional Coordination of BVS (BVS5), to be held togehter with CRICS 8 (8th Regional Congress of Health Science Information) on August 12th-17th, 207 in cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

this event will promote discussions on various technological aspects sustaining system BVS, SciELO and ScienTI. We will presentations mainly centered in the advances of each system including technological novelties, he use of new languages, adoption of new tools, and announcement of new projects.

The agenda covers four main sessions: Network BVS, Network SciELO, Network ScienTI and new Systems and Platforms.

In the first session, it will be presented solutions for feeding sources of information for BVS via platform Plone.

In the session Network SciELO, it will be presented and discussed the evolutions of platform SciELO, with the recent inclussion of serie of services for users, besides changes in its portal.

Other topics are also forseen for this meeting, as new project GHL-Global Health Library and ISIS Network Platform (UNESCO-BIREME).

All program developers and system ecnicians are invited. It is necessary to register at VI International Congress of Health Informatics.
